Licensing Definition

Business License issued by Jerantut District Council (MDJ) applies to all business premises and petty traders in MDJ's operations area according to the type of business applied.

Business Licence Period

Business Licence issued by MDJ is for a one year period. All businesses/petty traders are required to renew their business licences every year.

Procedure of Applying Business Licence

Applicants are required to fill in the Business Licence Application Form which can be obtained at MDJ's Collection Counter or by downloading the form from MDJ's website at www.mdjerantut.gov.my. Applicants are required to state the type of business that will be carried out in the form and to include the required documents together with the application. Completed applications are to be sent to the Licensing Counter together with the processing fee and a slip acknowledging the receipt of the licence application will be issued as reference.
